He waited patiently for many years ,for me to arrive.
He believed that with my arrival, his life would change for good.
There were days when restlessness surfaced.
But his dad would pacify him, and he would resume his calm manners.
Never would he miss checking if I had come ; that was his favourite ritual of sorts.
He would invariably be disappointed , but settle down to wait.
Well, he couldn’t do anything else, could he ?
And when he finally spotted me, he smiled happily and congratulated himself !
Oh !! He was a man, now !
His moustache was very important to him !!
:D :D :P
