A to Z Random Post # 8 H - Holding on !

 I couldn’t hold on any longer.

 "I can’t bear it , dear. I can’t, anymore. Can you just be quick ?", I appealed to him earnestly.

I could see  Amit was calm even while trying his best to drive fast.

I wrapped my arms around my stomach, hoping that would ease the feeling.

" We’re almost there, sweetheart," Amit said as he swerved the car to the right and entered the by-lane.

I heaved a huge sigh of relief.

Finally, we’d reached.

"Thanks, dear. I couldn’t have remained hungry anymore," I said ,tucking into the delicious spread with a sheepish smile.
