She spent every living moment of her childhood with him.
When she went to school and later to college she would rush back home to share with him everything about her life ,fears, ambitions and aspirations.
In her dreams she was his perfect consort, despite the other girls in his life.
The moments she danced with him filled her with happiness inexplicable !
The day she got married, she hugged him and cried, unable to accept the separation.
“Hey, take him with you, love”, her husband consoled her.
Happily, she took her favourite companion to her new home.
Her Krishna Idol :-)

ReplyDeleteGreat story.
That's the best one, Sreeja.. I can totally relate to the post. I have a Krishna Idol with me- something which my Mom had bought within months after I was born. So, keeps saying that the idol is my age. When I was off to my new home, I really missed my "Krishna" and she lovingly sent it across to Pune from TVM. Aww...... :) Thanks for the wonderful post.
ReplyDeleteI liked it! Thank God for such understanding husbands! :)
